Gallery Folders

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that a folder for tutorials and references has been added.  If you have any useful animation tips up on dA, feel free to submit.  As for everyone else, hopefully you'll get some use out of it!

More Journal Entries

- You don't have to actually make any gifs to be in this group. Anyone can join!

- You're allowed two submissions per folder per day.

- Submit to the appropriate folder. If you're not sure of where to submit a particular piece or feel there should be another category, don't hesitate to let me know.

- Rotoscoping is just a fancy way of saying that you used a base to create your animation. So if your gif used a base and isn't an avatar or stamp, make sure it goes into the "Rotoscoped Gifs" folder.

- The only place you're allowed to submit gifs that contain footage from random tv shows, movies, animes, etc that you didn't actually make is in the Stamp or the Avatars and Icons folder. (If it's an actual stamp or avatar, of course.) This is to ensure that the group doesn't become full of the screenshot equivalent of gifs. I want user-made content, not a bunch of copy-pasted material.

Other than that, have fun and enjoy the galleries!

If there's anyone here who does GIFs, there are a number of contexts I am interested in see various anime girls involved in, including:

-changing a baby boy's diaper
-becoming fat
-shaking her butt
-being fondled (by a male character)
-running in embarrassment (naked, obese, and/or with her hair in a beehive)
-lifting her belly
-taking a shower
-anything that might appeal to you in Starbound (a Lucky Star fanfic)
-sumo matches (b/w two Lucky Star girls of your choice, fattened up; see this folder for all viable characters.)

Applicable fandoms and characters vary between items listed, and will be presented to anyone interested in this.  If you'd like to combine two or more items, we can talk about it.

Payment note: I am abandoninging Paypal because it currently supports a corrupt organization known as Autism Speaks, which, despite the name, does not represent autistic people and has committed more than a few atrocities against the autistic community. My first payment option of choice right now is Western Union (to transfer payment directly to your bank account), but if you'd like to be paid some other way (barring Google Wallet, which is US-only anyway), I can negotiate with you.)

hi there. I have just started to make animations ^^; but I could try something that doesnt have too many frames.
Western union is okay with me ^^
DMXrated Featured By Owner Oct 28, 2015
Alright, then.  How many frames, tops?
Imaranx Featured By Owner Oct 29, 2015  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
my longest one is 37, but that is pretty long to me, cause I make traditional way.
But my best one is about 6 frames. so it depends on what is happening there...
and I price it $15 per one frame sketched.
you can write more info on note to me ^^

Hello, fellow animators!
I’m Moony-moo from “Lazorewka” studio. My team is looking for a 2D animator who will create two scenes for a music video. The task is to make an animation template that is ready for inking.
That’s what we want you to create:…

There are following scenes to be done:
“Fat lady runs after a character”
“Three young ladies dance flamenco”
“Three young ladies play guitars”

We prefer to pay via bank transfer with an official invoice. Paypal is not welcomed but still acceptable.
Feel free to contact us:
Skype: Scorpy__
Please pay attention: the offer expires on may 21st.

is there a FAQ on deviantart, to know how to submit an animated gif, concerning maximum size, format etc... ?
alexapdos Featured By Owner May 19, 2015  Professional Filmographer
I don't think there's a maximum size for the gif itself, but you will need to make a separate preview image.  It's been a while since I uploaded any gifs, but I think the maximum preview dimensions are 150x150p and up to 1MB?  It can still be animated, but you'll just have to shrink it/reduce its quality to meet those standards.

Would something like this fit here? :)

If you turned it into an avatar or stamp, then sure.  Otherwise no, just because you didn't create the original source material.
